STANDARD BAG COLORS
Clear, White, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Red — Other colors available as needed

STANDARD INK COLORS
White, Black, Brown PMS 483, Reflex Blue, Red PMS 199, Green PMS 348, Orange PMS 165, Yellow PMS 109 — Custom colors available as needed

AVAILABLE IMAGE AREA
Width of bag minus 1", Length of bag minus 3" (minus 4" if bag has a doorknob hole)

COPY SPECIFICATIONS
Text - Minimum of 12 pt medium for positive text, minimum of 14 pt. bold for reverse text
Line & Free Points —Minimum of 1 pt rule weight for positive, Minimum of 2 pt for reverse
Color to Color Traps— Minimum of 1/16", preferably with a black trap line of 1/8" or greater to trap opposing colors

PRESS CAPABILITIES
Up to 6 colors on 1 side Must allow for a registration variance of 1/8" total between colors

Up to 3 colors on 2 sides Screening should be no finer than 45-line screen

STANDARD PLATE CHARGE
$250 per color/per side for bags up to 9" wide $300 per color/per side for bags over 9" wide

MINIMUM QUANTITY AND LEAD TIME
100M minimum order — 10%over/under run quantity allowance per order

Standard lead-time is 4-6 weeks from receipt of approved art to our specs: Consult rep for possibility of shorter lead times

STANDARD ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS
Suffocation Warning is included in the artwork and is within the image area

Right reading negative, emulsion side up; density of 3.8 to 4.0

Pre-Separated negatives required for multiple colors

Color to color trap must be within above referenced specs

ELECTRONICALLY GENERATED NEGATIVES
Must be separated with 1200dpi or greater quality

Scanned-in-images are not acceptable

ELECTRONICALLY TRANSMITTED ART/ART ON DISK (charge for imaging as quoted)

All support files must be included on disk.

All screen and printer fonts must be included on disk.

Scanned-in art is not acceptable.

Must include mechanical color proof with scale indicated.

All art must be vector images set-up in spot color, raster images are not acceptable.

Preferred applications are: Quark Express, Adobe Illustrator and Freehand. Use of Multi-ad creator is discouraged.

However, if must be used, Creator files must be exported as EPS files. No PDF or jpeg files.

HALF TONE SCREEN SPECIFICATIONS
Avoid photographs and fine screening since they tend to cause considerable light-to-dark variations.

If screening is used, screen line ruling should be 65 lines per inch, with a tonal range of 10 - 75% and a screen angle of 50

If screening is used, supply artwork on a disk or call for an email address.

PLEASE NOTE: ARTWORK REQUIRING CHANGES TO CONFORM TO ABOVE SPECS WILL BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL CHARGES AS QUOTED. SAVE TIME AND MONEY BY DOUBLE CHECKING FINISHED ART BEFORE SUBMITTING TO GP PLASTICS.
