FOUR COLOR PROCESS FLEXO PRINTING

PRINT CAPABILITIES: 4 Color process and up to 4 line colors

PRINT MARGINS: Maximum image area is 1 inch less than the width of the bag and 3 inches less than the length. If bag has a doorknob hole image area needs to be 4 inches less than the length.

ART ORIGIN: Supply original artwork on disk/Electronically transmitted art. Preferred application is Illustrator. Plate maker will do color separations.

PRINT REGISTER: 1/32-inch minimum clearance between type, logo's etc.

TRAPPING: 1/32-inch minimum trap line with 1/64-inch minimum bleed on backup color.
1/32-inch minimum color-to-color trap.

RULE LINES:
1/2 point weight minimum positive print
1-point weight minimum reverse print

TYPE SIZES:
8-point caps minimum positive print
8-point caps (boldface) minimum reverse print
Some types may need to be enlarged depending on font

SCREENS: Process color 100 to 120-line screen count per job
85 line for combination screen and line color.

HALFTONES: 1 percent minimum dot size (10-12% on bag)

FILM THICKNESS REQUIRED: Minimum gauge 1.25
